Top Issues

Government Reform Decisions that shape Roswell’s future should be based on the voices of residents — not outside consultants. I will always prioritize feedback from the community over expensive outside reports. Economy During my time as Roswell’s IT Director, I saved millions by streamlining operations — without eliminating jobs or reducing services. I’ll continue that approach as a council member: reducing reliance on high-priced consultants and reinvesting in the city’s own staff, who know how to serve the people of our community. Economy Small businesses are the backbone of our economy. I will work to reduce red tape, encourage entrepreneurship, and make it easier for local businesses to thrive — without raising fees or taxes to cover poor budgeting decisions. When Roswell businesses succeed, our entire community benefits. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Public safety must always be a top priority. I will ensure our Police and Fire Departments have the staffing, training, and resources necessary to keep every neighborhood safe. Having worked closely with both departments during my time as IT Director, I know the challenges they face — and I’ll always have their back. Environment / Energy Roswell’s tree canopy, green spaces, and historic landmarks are part of what makes our city special. I will stand against clear-cutting, short-sighted development, and neglect — and work to preserve our parks, trails, and heritage for future generations. Government Reform Trust is built by follow-through. I will hold city leadership accountable to the commitments they make — ensuring that projects are delivered, budgets are respected, and promises to residents are kept. Taxes / Budget Citizens deserve to know exactly how their tax dollars are being spent. I will push for straightforward, transparent accounting so that every resident can easily see where money goes and why. Economy Roswell needs economic growth that strengthens our tax base without raising taxes. I will support projects that create opportunity and attract new employers while protecting the character of our neighborhoods and quality of life. Growth should make Roswell stronger, not overburdened. Taxes / Budget Roswell families work hard for every dollar, and government should do the same. I’ll protect residents from unnecessary tax increases by cutting wasteful spending and making sure funds improve quality of life. I’ll also guard against risky revenue bonds that bypass a citizen vote and leave taxpayers carrying the burden. Government Reform Transparency isn’t just about sharing information after the fact — it’s about inviting residents into the process before decisions are made. I will ensure every voice has a seat at the table and that community feedback directly influences the choices we make for Roswell. Convservative spending Conservative, responsible spending: Ensure every tax dollar is treated with the same care and scrutiny as a household budget—focusing on needs, not wants. Accountability in city finances: Prioritize essential services and eliminate wasteful or unnecessary spending to keep Roswell financially strong without raising taxes. Honest Government Transparency first: Make records, communications, and decisions easily accessible so citizens can clearly see how their tax dollars are being used. Integrity in leadership: Commit to open communication, fair processes, and ensuring that city government always serves residents—not special interests. Protect Roswell Support Public Safety: Fully fund and equip Police and Fire with the tools, staffing, and training needed to keep Roswell safe. Preserve Green Spaces: Protect our trees, parks, and natural areas so future generations can enjoy the beauty and character that make Roswell unique.
