Environment / Energy I know that Priority Waste pickup has been an ongoing issue in the community and, rightly, upsetting for many residents. I would like to lead the community in making Priority Waste address this and hold themselves responsible. I would also like to review our future options given the contract renewal. Environment / Energy If we can find a way to improve our plumbing structure I think that may help with the water bills. Now when it comes to the electric…DTE needs to get it together and I hope to find some way to pressure them in to action. Arts / Culture I'd really like to incentivize businesses to become part of the community so we can get a social district of sorts started, at least part-time on the weekends! I have a number of ideas floating around and I think we can get something started to add on to the great activities being brought in to the city currently! Legislation There's open space owned by the city next to Meijer that I would like to see utilized as a dog park. There are plenty of folks that utilize the the normal parks for their dogs, so I think it would be a great opportunity to have a dog-focused park as well.
