By partnering with our Economic Development team, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Downtown Development Authority, we can bring new businesses into these spaces and provide the support they need to thrive. Revitalizing these areas will not only strengthen our local economy but also enhance the character and vibrancy of Lafayette for years to come. I am committed to ensuring that our small businesses have the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive so they can continue to serve our community for generations to come. Infrastructure / Transportation Before approving any project, we must ensure that our infrastructure is prepared to support it; whether that means assessing the capacity of our roads for increased vehicle and bicycle traffic, confirming we have adequate water and other critical resources, or considering the impact on our schools. Protecting our open space is also a vital part of maintaining the character and quality of life that make Lafayette so special.
