Criminal Justice / Public Safety As part of my community leadership, I will continue to support policies that strengthen law enforcement, prioritize crime prevention, and maintain safe communities and schools across Coweta County. Taxes / Budget Sound financial management is critical to county government and plays a significant role in enhancing public services via proper allocation. My focus will be on building relationships with other county officers, understanding their needs and facilitating open communication about the future needs of Coweta County. Environment / Energy Investing in parks, trails, ball fields, and recreation facilities in District 3 would provide families with more opportunities to stay active and engage with their neighbors. Infrastructure / Transportation Growth must be responsible and well-planned. Economic development should occur in areas that are properly zoned and supported by the necessary infrastructure, including roads, utilities, and public safety services. We should focus on enhancing our existing industrial and commercial areas rather than pushing inappropriate development into rural or residential parts of the county. Economy I support economic development that fosters stable jobs for the residents here. This involves attracting businesses and industries that offer long-term employment, livable wages, and significant investment in our local economy. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Safe communities require a proactive approach to crime prevention, which includes supporting community policing efforts, investing in modern public safety technology, and ensuring strong coordination between the Sheriff’s Office, local police departments, fire services, and emergency responders. Preventing crime before it happens is always better than reacting after the fact. Economy Small businesses, manufacturers, and locally owned companies are the backbone of our local economy, and they deserve a county government that listens and collaborates with them. Responsible economic development should strengthen our tax base, create job opportunities, and improve quality of life while preserving the values and character that make Coweta County a great place to live and raise a family. Infrastructure / Transportation If data centers are going to be part of Coweta County’s future, they should be located where they belong—in areas zoned for heavy industrial use, where the infrastructure is designed to support them and where the surrounding land uses are appropriate for that level of development.
