Housing As magistrate, I will explore strategies to increase affordable housing availability within Frankfort and ensure existing community housing meets safety and quality standards. I believe in the power of beautification—not gentrification—to uplift public housing areas, providing residents with clean, safe, and dignified living environments that foster pride and stability. Drug Policy As magistrate, I am dedicated to pursuing the establishment of a supervised visitation center in Frankfort to support families in healing and rebuilding relationships. Criminal Justice / Public Safety As magistrate, I will make sure the county emergency plan takes care of everyone affected by a disaster, and that everyone is able to access the resources that are available. This plan would include funding designated local helpers to guide residents through relief processes, ensuring that no one falls through the cracks due to lack of information or access. Infrastructure / Transportation The closure of the downtown YMCA and KSU’s indoor pool in 2021 has left a significant void in Frankfort’s recreational and wellness resources for all ages. Supporting the proposed indoor aquatic and wellness center is a priority for me as magistrate, as it promises to bring jobs, boost local revenue, and fulfill a long-standing community need.
