Infrastructure / Transportation I will support measures enacting and enforcing reasonable building and development codes and streamlined permitting, while continuing to promote responsible economic development along our commercial corridor. Taxes / Budget I will work to ensure implementation of a long-term budgeting process to maintain our fiscal health without relying on property tax increases, ensuring the city can provide high-quality services aligned with our residents’ expectations and priorities. Environment / Energy Our unique topography and the proximity of our wooded areas to our homes and business, coupled with recent droughts and increased storm debris bring increased fire risk to the community that we love. I will prioritize implementation of and improvements to our Firewise 3-Year Action Plan, including: Education and Outreach Home Hardening Fuel Reduction Evacuation Planning & Wildfire Preparedness.
