Fun Fact
Outside of work, one of my greatest passions is track and field. I am a certified official at local high school meets, state tournaments, and collegiate events, and I’ve had the privilege of officiating at major competitions including Big Ten Championships, NCAA Division I, II, and III National Championships, and even the U.S. Olympic Trials. I also serve as President of the USATF Lake Erie Association, where I help support athletes, lead events, and work with national governing bodies. It’s a role that combines my love of sports, teamwork, and giving back to the community.
Past Experience
I bring more than 30 years of professional leadership experience as an electrical engineer, where I’ve solved complex problems, managed large projects, mentored future leaders, and delivered results with accountability and fiscal responsibility. I’ve also been actively engaged in Richfield’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan discussions, helping shape conversations about thoughtful growth and preserving our village’s unique character.
My Top Issues
Balance development with neighborhood preservation
I want to preserve Richfield’s semi-rural character and protect it from overdevelopment.
Ensuring strict enforcement of local laws and ordinances
I want to strengthen consistent enforcement of Richfield’s Codified Ordinances, ensuring fair application that maintains community standards and protects property values.
Properly fund emergency services
I want to continue the support of our top-tier police and fire services to keep our residents safe.
