Government Reform
I will establish email listservs in each Ward to encourage residents to send me your ideas, concerns, priorities. Instead of the administration preparing a budget that presents only a portion of the available money, councilors will consider the “whole pie” and determine the manner of slicing the pieces to reflect the values of our resident.
Education
Our schools are in crisis. Classes in elementary schools are overcrowded. IEPs are not being satisfied, so the most vulnerable kids are lacking the support that they are legally mandated to receive.
