To ensure our neighborhoods are secure and our residents feel safe, I will prioritize maintaining a sufficient number of sheriff’s, firefighters, and first responders to meet the needs of our growing population. This will help protect both our residents and local businesses. Infrastructure / Transportation Enhancing our community’s beauty and safety is a top priority. I will advocate for the development and maintenance of our parks to provide green spaces where families can relax and children can play. Creating safer neighborhood streets is essential; I will prioritize the installation of street lights, crosswalks, and well-maintained sidewalks to ensure the safety of all residents. By investing in these improvements, we can create a more welcoming and secure environment for our community. Economy Promoting local businesses and fostering job opportunities are essential for the economic vitality of our community. I am committed to creating an environment that supports entrepreneurship, attracts investment, and encourages a thriving business landscape in Vista. Additionally, I will be dedicated to maintaining a balanced budget to prevent unnecessary financial burdens on Vista families and ensure our city's financial stability without resorting to emergency cuts or sales tax increases. Infrastructure / Transportation Upgrading highway 78 and enhancing our local roads will improve traffic flow and allow residents to spend less time in traffic and more time with loved ones. My goal is to make commutes smooth, safe, and efficient, benefiting everyone in our community. Housing I am dedicated to implementing compassionate solutions for Vista's homeless. By providing addiction and mental health treatment, we can help individuals transition from the streets to recovery and a better life. I will ensure that our most vulnerable populations—including the elderly, children, and veterans—receive the care and support they need. My goal is to help our local homeless community regain stability and dignity.
