Taxes / Budget We will need to issue debt over the next 10 years for proper growth. The way we issue that debt and manage it will be critical. Criminal Justice / Public Safety We will also need a new fire station within the next 10 years to support growth. That will be an additional station with full staffing. Infrastructure / Transportation Cleburne will need to continue to invest in our sewer system and into our water distribution system as well as road construction and maintenance. Ensuring we stick as close as possible to our Capital Improvement Plan is critical as we grow. Criminal Justice / Public Safety I would like to see a new police station/fire admin building built. We have already started soliciting designs for this, but I would like to see a new building built in the next 5 years. Taxes / Budget I would also like us to institute a property tax buy down with our sales tax rate. That will allow us to keep our tax rate more manageable as we grow. Taxes / Budget I would like to keep our budget as close to the No New Revenue Tax rate as possible each year. Taxes / Budget A property tax rate buydown will allow us to be more flexible with the debt we do issue and will ensure our tax rate is stable over this growth period.
