Education At the very least ALL individuals studying education, counseling, social work, and health care should get a FREE education. Invest in the people who invest in society! Education I will continue to invest in our youth and expand alternative learning programs into the middle schools and include sixth grade students who have been retained. The younger we can provide an intervention the better the outcomes are for our youth. Education The schools are being called upon to deliver mental health and social services it is not fully resourced to do. Schools were designed to be academic institutions but are being increasingly called upon to address the medical and mental health services of this generation. Give schools the proper personnel and resources to meet the needs of the communities it serves. Arts / Culture Our community needs more multigenerational places and spaces to gather and practice health, wellness, and cultural arts with one another in person. It's time we built a public swimming pool complex for our coast of water men, women, and children.
