She has a record of protecting taxpayers while investing in infrastructure, and she’s committed to building an economy that works for everyone. Housing Homelessness is often hidden in Rockdale—families living in motels, cars, or on someone’s couch. Doreen refuses to ignore it. She’s working with community leaders, judges, and state partners to find real solutions, from grant funding to stronger wraparound services. She believes housing stability is key to safer, healthier families, neighborhoods, and communities. Taxes / Budget Rockdale is growing fast, with major revenues coming from data centers and other industries. Doreen wants to ensure those dollars are invested strategically—raising median incomes, planning housing for retirees, families, young professionals, as well as building a county that is attractive to all, including the next generation.
