Infrastructure / Transportation Roads, water systems, and essential services must come first, before giving developers the green light. He will put citizens before special interests, ensuring growth enhances rather than harms Tavares. Taxes / Budget He will push for an independent budget review, ensure every dollar is tracked, and eliminate wasteful spending. Taxes / Budget He will work to prioritize smarter spending, cut waste, and bring fiscal responsibility to City Hall. Families deserve relief, not more taxes. Taxes / Budget Doug will oppose unnecessary tax hikes and fight to protect families from being priced out of their own city. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Doug will ensure our police, fire, and EMS have the resources, staffing, and mental health support they need.
