Criminal Justice / Public Safety A community cannot be fully revitalized unless it is safe. We should make all federal programs for communities contingent on restoring law and order. Infrastructure / Transportation America’s infrastructure is aging and overburdened. Unfortunately, many recent infrastructure projects have been politically motivated boondoggles. We must find new and innovative approaches to rebuild our critical infrastructure that doesn’t waste money on politically motivated projects. Environment / Energy One of my top goals in Congress will be to build alliances that will support a realistic, market-based transition to a cleaner future, based on scientific facts and reliable technologies, instead of the dreams, wishes, and fantasies of the Biden Administration. Healthcare I generally agree that it is the responsibility of parents, not the government, to care for their children. This includes making informed decisions about their health. Guns As your next Congressman, I will be the strongest proponent of the 2nd Amendment in the House of Representatives. Abortion / Contraception I am pro-life. But regardless of one’s views on abortion, it’s clear that the Roe vs. Wade decision was disastrous for our country. Immigration America has the most generous immigration policies in the world. We allow 1 million legal immigrants into the country each year. That is usually more than all other countries in the world combined. We cannot allow millions of illegal migrants uncontrolled entry into America. It’s not good for our economy, our people, our safety, and our future as a stable, cohesive society. Immigration I want to replace the H1B temporary worker program with an immigration program that allows STEM talent to immigrate to the U.S., become American citizens, and help us compete in the global economy. But immigration should not be used as a substitute for creating an educated workforce at home. Immigrants should be used to supplement Americans, not supplant them. Foreign Policy It's time to fundamentally rethink how we keep America free and safe. We don’t understand the Middle East. It’s time to stop meddling in their affairs. Israel is a wealthy, technologically advanced country. They don’t need us interfering with them. NATO was created to protect Europe from the Soviet Union, which hasn’t existed since 1991. It should be disbanded. Yes, we need to pay attention to China which has become increasingly hostile to America, our allies, and our interests. We can start by decoupling our economy from China. But mostly, we need to focus on the mounting problems at home, including the invasion at our southern border.
