Law enforcement cannot succeed without the support and understanding of the community it serves. Immigration The Weld County Sheriff’s Office would not participate in ICE civil immigration enforcement. The Sheriff’s Office will continue to operate as it always has, focusing solely on criminal enforcement and providing assistance with valid judicial warrants. Education As Sheriff, I will prioritize educating the public on how law enforcement works, including policies, procedures, and decision-making during critical incidents. An informed community is a stronger, safer community.
