Environment / Energy Gabe will make our climate response a priority. Housing As commissioner, Gabe will partner with cities on solutions to ease our housing crisis. Environment / Energy Gabe will review our county's existing Climate Action Plan and work on adding solid commitments to help our communities safely navigate the new normal. For starters, this means working on our preparedness for wildfire, flooding, and heat waves. Housing Gabe will work with cities on the big picture, partnering on initiatives and allocating state dollars to support holistic programs that ease the crisis at every level. Government Reform Gabe will make sure the county holds a Town Hall meeting in every city at least once per year. He'll also set at least one evening board meeting a month, so that people who work during the day have a chance to be heard.
