Instead, I have advocated for developments that respect our city’s needs, promote responsible resource use, and enhance our community’s long-term goals. Government Reform My commitment extends beyond merely disseminating information; I am also dedicated to leveraging new technologies to enhance civic engagement. By integrating innovative tools and platforms with traditional tools such as mailings, I aim to create a more interactive and accessible government for residents to participate in governance, ensuring that our community remains informed and involved in decision-making processes. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Additionally, it’s crucial to equip our police department with stationary license plate readers, which have proven effective in identifying criminals and stolen vehicles. Our elected officials have repeatedly requested funding from Tallahassee for the last three years, but this has not come through. We should advocate for Jacksonville to cover these costs.
