Fun Fact

I’m a semi-retired Skee-Ball league player (our league closed, otherwise I’d still be rolling!). Currently newly obsessed with Mahjong. I never say no to a trip — whether it’s a quick getaway with friends or international travel (I once lived in Dubai for six months!). Some of my favorite moments are simple ones — walking with friends, laughing with my “mom crew,” or spending a day at the beach. I believe joy and kindness don’t have to be complicated — small acts of connection go a long way.

Past Experience

I have a long track record of bringing people together — in my career, in our schools, and through local nonprofits. School Leadership: Served as PTO Board President, Vice President, and Fundraising Chair at Cassingham Elementary; currently serving as Vice President of the Bexley Middle School PTO. Nonprofit Service: Board Treasurer for Pint Size Protestors, supporting youth voices in advocacy. Community Building: Co-founded the Class of 2031 Care Crew to connect students across all Bexley schools through philanthropy and relationship-building. Passionate volunteer. Professional Leadership: In my career, I hold advanced certifications and lead with collaboration — including moderating events, hosting town halls, and creating inclusive spaces for dialogue. These roles have strengthened my ability to listen, build consensus, and ensure all voices are represented — the same approach I’ll bring to City Council.

My Top Issues

Ensuring Every Voice is Heard

Bexley is strongest when all residents feel seen, valued, and heard. I believe we need to evolve how the city listens to residents—by creating multiple, accessible opportunities for people to share their perspectives, whether through town halls, surveys, small group conversations, or neighborhood gatherings.

Building a Culture of Healthy Dialogue

As a certified facilitator in Crucial Conversations, I’ve spent my career helping leaders and teams navigate sensitive issues with respect and openness. On City Council, I would bring these skills to ensure that even when perspectives differ, discussions remain thoughtful, respectful, and solutions-oriented. Not every decision will please everyone, but the process can build trust and strengthen relationships.

Strengthening Community Connection

Bexley thrives on its strong sense of community. To build on that, I would propose a Welcome to Bexley program for new residents. This initiative would highlight key information about our city, connect people with local businesses and services, and foster new relationships from the start. It would not only impact new residents, but the involvement of current residents and local businesses would strengthen the culture of belonging.
