Social Services We need policies that reduce the cost and enhance the revenue of Social Security and Medicare while preserving the benefits. Environment / Energy Climate Change is real. It is causing increased natural disasters, increasing involuntary migration, and producing trillions in economic losses. The principal effects on Utah are Drought, poor air quality, and forest fires. I support comprehensive plans to slow and reverse Climate Change. Defense / Veterans We must support comprehensive veteran benefits, a robust and efficient Veterans Administration. The VA and FDA need to study better treatments for TBI/PTSD. Abortion / Contraception I will defend personal Agency and bodily Autonomy and fight against Autocratic restrictions on women’s reproductive health and family planning decisions. We must guard against further restriction on on human rights by a party seemingly intent on dictating many personal decisions.
