My Top Issues

Infrastructure / Transportation

At a time when federal dollars are harder to access, he will fight alongside his colleagues in government for Quincy’s fair share of resources to maintain and improve our roads, bridges, sidewalks, and transit. Good planning connects housing, jobs, and transportation.

Education

He will build on existing relationships with trade unions and grow partnerships with local businesses and colleges to open doors to internships, apprenticeships, and good jobs after graduation.

Economy

He will support partnerships with the Quincy Chamber of Commerce and local lenders so underrepresented entrepreneurs have the tools and support they need to thrive.

Education

He will fight for fair and timely employee contracts, funding, and resources so every student, no matter their zip code, has the tools they need to succeed. He will work with city and community partners to expand opportunities in civics, arts, sports, and enterprise to help kids connect learning with the real world.

Housing

Alie will help support nonprofits and city agencies that expand access to affordable housing, rental assistance, and services for our low-income neighbors and families at risk of homelessness.

Criminal Justice / Public Safety

He supports a balanced approach: giving first responders the training and resources they need while expanding community programs that prevent crime in the first place. Because building trust between residents and law enforcement makes everyone safer, he will push for fair, transparent policing and strong community engagement.

Infrastructure / Transportation

A modern, reliable MBTA keeps Quincy moving and supports good jobs and a growing economy. Alie will work with Mayor Koch and other government officials to make sure investments continue to reach our neighborhoods and that they make sense for Quincy families.

Criminal Justice / Public Safety

He will encourage programs that reduce poverty, expand access to mental health and substance use treatment, and give young people positive pathways.

Economy

He will work to reduce red tape, expand access to capital, and offer technical assistance so neighborhood businesses can grow and hire right here in Quincy.

Housing

Working with his colleagues on the City Council, he will support programs for working families to help them buy their first homes, including financial education, mortgage help, and partnerships with state and federal programs. He will push for balanced development and smart zoning to create housing for working families while protecting neighborhood character.

Social Services

Alie will push to expand affordable, accessible housing options so seniors can stay close to family and community. He’ll fight for programs and services that help seniors live well at home for as long as possible. He will advocate for investments in senior centers, transportation, and social programs that keep older adults active, connected, and safe, especially during emergencies.

Economy

Alie will partner with schools, training centers, and employers to help residents gain skills for better jobs from apprenticeships to job placement. Vibrant main streets lift up entire neighborhoods. Alie will encourage local shops and retail spaces that reflect Quincy’s diverse communities and keep our dollars close to home.
