Taxes / Budget Residents have the right to know if their tax dollars are being spent efficiently and to see the results of publicly funded programs, such as homeless spending and other services. Holly will work to bring full transparency and accountability to the County like she did in the City of Lincoln. Defense / Veterans We owe tremendous gratitude to our veterans. Placer County has many resources for veterans but we can always do better. The 2024 Point in Time count for homeless veterans was 45. I am committed to working collaboratively with the Placer County Veterans Service Office and other agencies already serving veterans, to combat veteran homelessness, create more authentic job opportunities and training for veterans, and assist veteran families in crisis. Criminal Justice / Public Safety As the county grows, Holly will work to make sure that public safety is fully funded and supported. Holly participated in the negotiation for land to build a new Public Safety Training Center in Placer that will benefit all jurisdictions and she will continue to support the efforts to bring this to fruition.
