Healthcare I support allowing Healthcare across state lines. Healthcare Affordable insurance that provides quality healthcare is an investment North Carolina must see as a return on the investment for our work force and our families. Education I look forward to representing our community and being a pro-active voice in Raleigh where we need strong leaders who will advocate and support a quality education system, economic development that continues to grow our job market and work force, and sustainable tax rates that benefit all of us and especially our working families. Economy We must continue to create good paying jobs so that people can be successful and productive and to provide for their families. Infrastructure / Transportation We need good roads, bridges, access to water and sewer which impact our quality of life every day. Criminal Justice / Public Safety I support enforcing laws to combat retail theft in North Carolina, and I want DC politicians to finally secure the border. Housing With my construction background, I have the skill set needed to assist in addressing our shortage of workforce housing. Taxes / Budget My goal is to find areas that can be cut, decrease spending, and reprioritize funds. Taxes / Budget I would fight to lower and/or eliminate personal property tax, income tax, impact fees and estate taxes. Guns I support the 2nd amendment. Wages / Job Benefits I support increasing the minimum wage which is currently at $7.25/hour.
