Housing Personally understanding the impact of home rehabilitation, I propose expanding assistance programs and streamlining HUD funding for home improvements. I also plan to enhance the building department, improving the permitting process for residents and contractors. Social Services Leveraging my expetise as a Licensed Medicare Professional, I will enhance care for seniors, including broader benefits and protective measures, focusing on the well-being of our valued senior citizens. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Ensuring the safety and security of District 1 and all of Tamarac is a top priority. This includes providing adequate funding for Tamarac Fire Rescue, ensuring they have the resources needed to respond effectively to emergencies. Additionally, strengthening our relationship with the Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) is crucial for maintaining community safety. By working collaboratively, we can enhance law enforcement efforts and ensure a safe, secure environment for all residents. Infrastructure / Transportation Building upon the progress made at Caporella Park, I aim to continue developing vibrant public spaces. Drawing from my role as Vice Chair for the Tamarac Board of Parks and Rec, I plan to replicate these improvements across our community.
