Education Work with our education bodies, TISD, UT Tyler, TJC and Texas College. The city needs to partner with these organizations for our workforce for the future. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Provide unwavering support for our Police and Fire Departments and make sure they have the necessary tools and training. Infrastructure / Transportation Keep working to improve the traffic flow throughout Tyler. Great strides have been made but more can be done to ease the congestion. Environment / Energy Protect our municipal source of water. We are blessed to have Lake Tyler and we need to be proactive to protect this jewel. Infrastructure / Transportation Continue moving forward on upgrades to our water and wastewater system. We cannot continue to grow if our infrastructure does not grow with us.
