Fun Fact

I’m a proud mother and love finding creative ways to teach my 8-year-old about faith, life, and responsibility. I enjoy planning meaningful family traditions, like yearly home blessings and celebrations to mark important spiritual milestones.

Past Experience

I have dedicated my life to serving families, children, and survivors in Cuyahoga County through my work in healthcare, nonprofit leadership, and community advocacy. As the Founder of The Mettle of Essence, I have built programs that ensure support, safety, and empowerment for domestic violence victims, while creating partnerships that strengthen our local community. My experience in administration, social work, organizational leadership and public service has given me firsthand insight into the challenges residents face, from food insecurity to housing instability. These experiences have prepared me to serve East Cleveland with compassion, practical solutions, and a steadfast commitment to improving the quality of life for all residents.

My Top Issues

Neighborhood watch programs

"I will support a neighborhood watch program to empower residents to take an active role in keeping our streets safe. By fostering collaboration between neighbors and local law enforcement, we can reduce crime and build a safer, more connected community."

Collaborating with organizations to address food deserts

I am committed to fighting food insecurity by ensuring that every family in our community has access to nutritious meals. By partnering with local food banks, schools, and organizations, we can provide resources and programs that support families in need and strengthen our community.

Increasing affordable housing options

I believe every family deserves a safe and stable place to call home. By supporting affordable housing initiatives and connecting residents to financial resources, we can help families stay in their homes and build stronger, more resilient communities.
