Why I am Running
Ja’Shae Rader has dedicated her life to serving families, children, and survivors in Cuyahoga County through her work in healthcare, nonprofit leadership, and community advocacy. As the Founder of The Mettle of Essence, she is building programs that ensure support, safety, and empowerment for individuals impacted by domestic violence while fostering partnerships that strengthen the local community.
Her experience in administration, social work, organizational leadership, and public service has given her firsthand insight into the challenges residents face, from food insecurity to housing instability. These experiences have prepared her to serve East Cleveland with compassion, practical solutions, and a steadfast commitment to improving the quality of life for all residents..
