Social Services Establish programs to provide legal assistance, social services, and community integration support for immigrants, regardless of their status Environment / Energy Fund training programs to prepare local residents for green jobs, such as solar panel installation and energy-efficient construction. Healthcare Ensure access to quality health services like regular doctor visits and preventative care to protect long term health and prevent life-threatening diseases, especially for rural communities, low-income communities, and communities of color who experience the greatest lack of access to quality healthcare. Environment / Energy The climate crisis is real, and far too many residents in the Inland Empire have been disproportionately impacted by pollution because of close proximity to the 60 and 10 freeways, as well as the proliferation of warehouses. If we want to have a future for the next generation, then we must work towards a sustainable and healthy future that prioritizes our environment. I’m committed to fighting back against the corporate polluters who try to take advantage of our communities, and I fully believe that everyone should have access to clean air and drinkable water. And while California has made progress in our goal to reach 100% renewable energy, more can be done to invest in the creation of good-paying, green jobs. Civil Rights Create stronger protections for LGBTQ+ youth against discrimination in healthcare and public education. Education Expand career technical education programs and green jobs. Economy Due to the ballooning cost of living and stagnant wages, many families are struggling to make ends meet. Small businesses are struggling to keep their doors open and the entrepreneurial potential of our communities is being left behind with not enough support. We have to work together to create more funding with grants and federal investment, cut red tape, and strengthen the local economy.
