Education I will work every day to bring new industries into Carter County so our children and grandchildren can thrive right HERE at home. I will drill down into what land we have available, get it shovel-ready, and make sure we’re prepared to compete. I will partner with our local trade schools and colleges to prepare our children for the industries we attract. I will lift up local businesses, so they can grow, hire, and succeed. Taxes / Budget A government truly by the people and for the people, with quarterly open-door reviews of finances, projects, and industries targeted for recruitment. Environment / Energy Protecting the safety of our citizens with stronger emergency preparedness, emergency action plans and mock drills for inclement weather or any weather-related emergency. Taxes / Budget Real contractor management and contract review, enforcing timelines, quality, and cost control. No free passes. Taxes / Budget Strict budget management, cutting waste, stopping drift, and making every tax dollar work for the people.
