Infrastructure / Transportation As an IT Professional, Jenny keeps systems running. She will deliver modern, secure, and efficient county services by upgrading infrastructure. Infrastructure / Transportation We must also address the County Jail. The facility is in disrepair and does not meet the needs of residents, staff or inmates. This will require transparency, coordination and cooperation to achieve the needed updates to the facility responsibly. Taxes / Budget Accountability for how we provide services. Fraud is a big issue in Minnesota and Jenny has auditor experience and can keep tax dollars used purposefully and responsibly. Government Reform Jenny will deliver common sense solutions by bridging divides, listening to local voices, and breaking through gridlock. Social Services The county should work to streamline casework across services such as housing, employment and mental health so residents get help more efficiently and the county uses resources wisely. I support continuing the practice of embedding a social worker with law enforcement to improve collaboration and better meet the needs of our communities.
