Jennifer Goetkze is a dedicated leader not only in her professional life but also as current Governing Board member for the Laveen Elementary School District (LESD). Goetzke is a parent to a 4th grader at Vista Del Sur Accelerated Academy. After spending hours volunteering on campus for her daughter's teachers, she wanted to do more to get involved with other elementary schools in the district.
Goetzke was appointed by Steve Watson for the Governing Board position in February of 2024. Although her term thus far was short, she has spent individual dedicated hours at each of the ten elementary schools touring classrooms, attending assemblies and celebrations and learning about each unique campus.
