Environment / Energy
As City Council, I will use my experience with the Washington State Growth Management Act, Clean Water Act, National Environmental Policy Act, State Environmental Policy Act, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permitting, Combined Sewer Overflow Reduction, Green Infrastructure, and Stormwater Management to address environmental concerns in our city.
Criminal Justice / Public Safety
As City Council, I would use my experience as a prosecutor and defense attorney to support changes that address serious safety issues in our community, focus on diversion for activities associated with homelessness rather than criminalization and incarceration, and to provide people in crisis with the resources they need rather than using jails as "housing" for homeless people.
Infrastructure / Transportation
As City Council, I would initiate and support actions to increase and improve access to local lakes for all members of our community.
Social Services
As City Council, my mission will be to improve access to municipal resources for all members of our community regardless of language, religion, race, or cultural background.
