Economy I believe we have a responsibility to ensure that all members of our community have access and opportunities to succeed. Ward 1 is home to four of Lakewood’s top employers—St. Anthony’s Hospital, Terumo BCT, FirstBank, and The Federal Center—offering unique opportunities in Northwest Lakewood. We must leverage these resources to support and uplift our community. Criminal Justice / Public Safety I will continue to advocate for keeping our community safe and investing in new, innovative responses to the challenges of the 21st century. Environment / Energy As a parent of school-aged children, I am dedicated to ensuring Lakewood takes a leading role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Housing Ward 1 has absorbed a tremendous amount of density over the past decade. While much of this development is necessary to address our housing crisis, it cannot be concentrated solely in Northern Lakewood. I will continue to advocate for reducing barriers to affordability and promoting responsible development. This includes further reviews and amendments to our building and zoning codes to implement modern solutions for our housing challenges and ensure equitable distribution of development across our community. Environment / Energy I remain committed to advocating for more open spaces throughout Lakewood, with a particular focus on Ward 1.
