Social Services Advocate and Demand a Fulton County Senior Citizens Center and Library along the Old National corridor accessible to MARTA. Criminal Justice / Public Safety I know public safety isn’t just about arrests—it’s about prevention. That means fixing the lights, investing in youth, and cleaning up the blight that makes people feel forgotten. I’ll support fully staffed first responders, but I’ll also focus on rebuilding trust, reducing trauma, and keeping our neighborhoods strong and connected. Education We have several non-profits, Fulton Schools, and churches. We need to develop intergovernmental agreements, partnerships, and collaborations to increase opportunities for our youth in South Fulton. Infrastructure / Transportation The city has conducted numerous studies and plans, including the Parks Master Plan and a Housing Study. We don’t need to pay consultants for documents and send out press releases, we need to put the expertise we paid for to work from short-term (quick wins) to long-term investing (planning for our future). Infrastructure / Transportation The millennials and Generation Z are becoming our largest cohorts and their needs are different, we must ensure that we have alternative modes of transportation to include lobbying for bus routes to serve business districts and dense neighborhoods along with sidewalks, paths and electric vehicle charging stations. Healthcare Advocate and Demand for a Fulton County Full Service Health Clinic along Roosevelt Highway open on People’s Hours Not Banker’s Hours. Government Reform South Fulton is the 5th largest city in the state and one of the largest in the Metro Atlanta area. We should maintain excellent working relationships not only with all South Fulton County cities but also with Atlanta and municipalities and counties across the region. Housing Advocate and Demand for Fulton County to create a South Fulton County Homeless Shelter. Taxes / Budget From duplicated payments to missing funds and backdoor deals, the numbers don’t add up. I’m calling for a full forensic audit on every department, not just the mayor’s office. Government Reform As mayor, I am opening the city for the people to get involved as INCREASE South Fulton means increasing opportunities for civic engagement and involvement to include correcting the public comment ordinance to allow anyone to speak on whatever they want in a time frame during our council meetings. Arts / Culture I will explore various opportunities for beautification and public arts through creating a South Fulton Arts and Beautification Council that would have a staffer to help find grants and resources. We will also develop ways to support, enhance, and grow the Adopt-A-Road program to include public spaces and bus stops. Infrastructure / Transportation We must embrace technology to have a more efficient and lean city. This will make life easier for our residents and business owners along with helping to streamline processes and procedures for our city staff.
