Infrastructure / Transportation Work for neighborhood preservation over up-zoning for commercial development. Support positive solutions concerning projects residents believe diminish the quality of life in their neighborhood. Infrastructure / Transportation I will ask Cave Creek residents what they want their Town Core to look like and be like. I will initiate Town Hall Focus Groups for residents to listen and learn what they want in their downtown. In addition, I will place a questionnaire on the Town’s website so residents can register their opinions and comments about downtown. The results will be published on the Town’s website. It is time for Cave Creek to listen to its residents. Environment / Energy Bring a plan to the Council and Community that shows the benefits and costs for Cave Creek to become Darksky International certified. Environment / Energy Work to preserve 4032 Acres of AZ State Trust Land annexed by Cave Creek. Government Reform Bring an annual budget to the Council and Community that Is transparent and assures that Cave Creek has a sustainable financial future. Environment / Energy I will bring transparency and effective financial management practices to the Water and Wastewater funds with long-term financial planning. Environment / Energy Initiate regular reporting to the council and community about the present and future condition of Cave Creek’s ground water aquifer. Initiate long-term financial planning for the Water and Wastewater Funds that brings transparency and effective financial management.
