Education Every student deserves to feel welcome, valued, and supported in our schools. I will champion policies that make everyone welcome in our schools. Public schools are for everyone. This includes ensuring students with disabilities receive appropriate accommodations and services, and that all students have access to a curriculum that reflects multiple perspectives. Taxes / Budget I am committed to ensuring that our district's resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to maximize student outcomes and that we balance budgets. I will advocate for transparency in budgeting and prioritize spending that directly impacts student learning, safety and well-being. Education Students learn best in environments where they feel safe and have access to modern facilities and technology. I will advocate for smart technology investments, ethical use of AI, and comprehensive safety measures to protect our students' physical and emotional well-being. Education I will work to support curriculum that supports students whether they are working towards trade school, university, community college or an independent life of self education. Wages / Job Benefits Our teachers are the backbone of our education system. I will have our teachers backs. I support collective bargaining. Education We have great teacher/student ratios in most classes. I want to see if we can find a way to support independent first and second grade classes. I support career and technical education, STEM, arts education, and support services for students who need additional help.
