Housing I support creating a city-sponsored workforce housing program—identifying strategic locations where teachers and first responders can access reduced-rent, high-quality housing. By partnering with reputable developers, we can build units that fit our neighborhoods, strengthen our workforce, and keep these essential professionals rooted in Chandler. Investing in those who serve us isn’t just good policy—it’s the foundation of a strong, stable community. Housing I support a balanced, responsible approach to affordable housing that encourages quality development, protects neighborhood character, and ensures growth pays its share for infrastructure. By partnering with reputable builders and using smart planning, we can expand affordable options without sacrificing standards. Every Chandler resident deserves the opportunity to live, work, and thrive in our city. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Keeping Chandler safe means investing in smart, modern tools that help our police and first responders stay ahead of threats. I support expanding a high-quality camera network—strategically placed in key areas like our downtown district—that integrates with existing buildings and city infrastructure. With real-time situational awareness fed directly to our police station, officers can respond faster, document incidents accurately, and deter crime before it escalates. This is about responsible, standards-based technology that strengthens safety while protecting our quality of life. Infrastructure / Transportation Chandler’s growth must be guided—not left to chance. As our city expands, we need smart planning that protects our existing neighborhoods while ensuring new development fits our long-term vision. That includes working cooperatively with Maricopa County on county islands, aligning infrastructure, public safety coverage, and long-term land use so Chandler residents aren’t burdened by gaps or inconsistencies. Strong neighborhoods depend on reliable streets, safe communities, and development that pays its own way. Managed growth means building responsibly, preserving our character, and making sure every part of Chandler can thrive—now and for the future. Environment / Energy As a councilmember, I will push for clearer coordination between the City, RWCD, and regional partners to ensure Chandler’s water deliveries are stable, transparent, and protected from administrative or operational breakdowns. I support long-term water planning, investment in resilient infrastructure, and smart conservation practices that safeguard our community without burdening families. Water security isn’t optional—it’s foundational to Chandler’s growth, economy, and quality of life. Economy Chandler thrives when local businesses can grow without unnecessary obstacles. I support streamlining permitting, reducing red tape, and improving coordination between city departments so entrepreneurs, contractors, and small businesses can move forward with clarity and confidence. By cutting friction in the process—while still upholding high standards—we can attract new investment, support local jobs, and keep Chandler competitive. A business-friendly city is a thriving city, and I’ll work to make every interaction with Chandler simpler, faster, and more predictable. Taxes / Budget I am committed to responsible budgeting, limiting unnecessary spending, and focusing resources where they truly matter—public safety, infrastructure, and the long-term health of our community. Fiscal responsibility also means full transparency, giving residents clear insight into how money is allocated and ensuring every project is accountable. Smart growth, honest budgeting, and clear reporting will guide every decision I make on the council.
