Education Maintain support for Hudson’s outstanding Arts program. Education Excellence for all students in the fundamentals of reading, writing, and math. Education Technology in the classroom is key for our students being prepared for today, ready to build the world of tomorrow, and teachers having all the tools they need to deliver top level education outcomes. Education Prevent drops in academic performance as a result of school transitions. Criminal Justice / Public Safety ALL students and teachers need safe buildings where they can learn, teach, and grow. Anything less is not acceptable. Infrastructure / Transportation I don’t agree with the process or methodology used that resulted in a vote to close two schools. There were many items and key information never considered, questions left unanswered, and/or data was missing. The plan wasn’t ready. Taxes / Budget We need disciplined budgeting and a commitment to attention to detail to ensure every dollar directly support needs, not wants, to support students and teachers in the classroom. Education Regardless of Federal and State funding I will fund special education at 100%. The foundation for students’ adult lives are made here. Education Now more than ever we need input from teachers, families, community, and students about issues and topics that are important to them, and ideas about how we can improve and make the education for our kids great.
