Healthcare We cannot continue to see our friends and neighbors go without access to healthcare. We cannot continue to see the cost of healthcare increase in Idaho for working families. I have heard stories locally, of veterans who have served our country and put their lives on the line, not being able to get the life saving medical care they need simply because they cannot afford it. This is unacceptable. We must find a way to care for these individuals who willingly volunteered to serve this great nation. We must prioritize women’s health care as well. Healthcare I am dedicated to passing laws that not only make health care accessible and affordable but also of the highest quality possible for all Idahoans! Social Services Advocate for Idaho's Libraries. Education There is a debate in the capital though about whether or not your tax dollars should help pay for homeschooling/Private schools. This would take away those freedoms that families enjoy! In homeschooling and private schooling parents have the choice on which curriculum to use for their children, but if we start spending tax dollars on these things, the government would inevitably have to step in and regulate these options. Education I believe it is a continuational and moral obligation to adequately fund public education. Economy We all know how important agriculture is to Idaho’s economy. Agricultural issues take a lot of research, time, and planning to prepare to take a vote for. I promise to always talk to Idaho’s farmers and ranchers about how they see these issues, and what needs to be done to support them best.
