Education Expecting Success for All Students - Parents, teachers, staff and the Frederick community are all partners in creating exceptional achievement for all students. Josh will both listen and collaborate so students can achieve academic success and be ready to launch after graduation. Education Creating Economic Opportunities - Expand FCPS' Career Technology Center (CTC) training classes and eliminate the waiting list to get in; expand access for All students to IB, engineering programs and the arts. Education Reducing Overcrowded Schools - Josh will advocate for needed funding to construct new schools and he will introduce new ideas to help reduce class size. Healthcare Expanding Mental Health Resources for our Students - Josh will advocate for expanded student mental and behavioral health resources. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Prioritizing School Safety - Josh will work together to improve pedestrian school crossings for students; ensure school environments are safe, welcoming and inclusive for all students. Education Retaining and Attracting Talented Teachers and Staff - Josh will support initiatives that help ensure we retain and attract talented professional educators.
