Government Reform I believe that EVERYONE has a right to speak at school board meetings. In fact, its the law! I will always listen to any person who approaches me about a concern with how our schools are ran. I will also always listen to any citizen who stands at the lectern at board meetings with any concern. Education Blount County Schools is underperforming with standardized test scores.  We need to re-examine our curriculum and focus on the state standards to increase proficiencies. Education Our school libraries need to be re-evaluated as to how and which materials are being allowed into the schools. There is NO PLACE for erotic material in a school library.
