Criminal Justice / Public Safety Find outside public safety funding to expand neighborhood and traffic safety patrols. Infrastructure / Transportation Increase system development charges to ensure that developers pay for water, sewer, roads and park infrastructure needed for their construction projects. Development should pay for itself. Infrastructure / Transportation If elected as Mayor, I will work to manage and control growth, seek state and federal infrasturcture grants to reduce future utility rates. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Neighbors are seeing more stolen cars, car break-ins, homeless issues, and local crime, not to mention speeders and red-light runners through town. We need to consider additional funding sources to expand night and traffic patrols. Housing We need to maintain the balance of low, medium and high densities we already have. We need apartments and smaller more dense neighborhoods, but we also need larger single-family lots to allow for gardens and swing sets.
