Criminal Justice / Public Safety

Ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent wisely is a top priority for me. I will reduce wasteful spending by streamlining the Sheriff's Office, eliminating unnecessary supervisory positions, and reorganizing the department to focus more resources on front-line services.

Criminal Justice / Public Safety

To further reduce costs, I will sell the Can-Am and eliminate non-essential vehicles, including the take-home car program for part-time deputies, lowering both maintenance and procurement expenses.

Criminal Justice / Public Safety

I'll enhance collaboration by disbanding the Sheriff's Office SWAT team and joining forces with the Police and Fire Departments to create a unified City SWAT team.

Criminal Justice / Public Safety

My approach is simple: reduce waste, improve efficiency, and reinvest in the community. Together, we will make our Sheriff's Office more effective, accountable, and connected to the people we serve.

Criminal Justice / Public Safety

My goal is to significantly improve retention by listening to the needs of our staff and ensuring they feel like essential members of the agency.

Criminal Justice / Public Safety

We’re committed to creating an environment where every team member feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive. I also plan to encourage deputies to engage in community volunteer opportunities, strengthening the bond between our department and the people we serve. Ultimately, I want the Sheriff's Office to be a place where our deputies are excited to work, grow, and make a lasting difference in the community.
