This starts with fully supporting our police officers, providing them with the resources needed to combat violent crime, and giving them the mandate to address property crime that undermines our quality of life. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Emergency Preparedness: It is crucial to ensure Miami is hurricane-ready, with improved evacuation routes, shelters, and communication systems as part of the broader strategy. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Community Policing: The campaign also emphasizes the expansion of community policing programs that foster trust between officers and residents while enhancing crime prevention efforts. Government Reform Absolute Term Limits: As part of my Miami mayoral campaign, I will push for city charter changes to ensure no mayor or commissioner can serve more than two terms.
