My Top Issues

Infrastructure / Transportation

As Trussville continues to expand, we must ensure that our infrastructure keeps up with growth. This means prioritizing improvements that ease congestion, enhance public safety, and provide the resources needed to support our schools and first responders. As your City Council member, I will advocate for responsible investments that improve quality of life and keep Trussville moving forward.

Education

Trussville’s schools are among the best in the state, and we must keep them that way. A strong education system benefits every resident, from families with young children to homeowners who see their property values rise. I am committed to ensuring our schools have the resources they need to support students, teachers, and staff. By working closely with school leaders and prioritizing education in city planning, we can maintain the excellence that makes Trussville’s schools a cornerstone of our community.

Economy

I’ve seen firsthand the impact of strong economic development, and I believe in supporting businesses that invest in our people and our city. By attracting the right industries and creating an environment where businesses can flourish, we can ensure a prosperous future while keeping Trussville’s economic growth aligned with the needs of our community.

Arts / Culture

What makes Trussville special isn’t just its growth; it’s the people, traditions, and sense of community that bring us together. Whether it’s Friday night lights, Saturdays at the ball fields, or worship on Sunday, these moments define our hometown. As we look toward the future, we must preserve what makes Trussville unique while embracing smart, strategic progress. I will work to maintain our small town charm, protect historic areas, and ensure that growth enhances, rather than changes, the character of the community we love.

Infrastructure / Transportation

Smart growth means planning for the long term, which requires investing in infrastructure, supporting local businesses, and preserving the charm and values that make Trussville home. As a member of the City Council, I will prioritize thoughtful, strategic decisions that benefit our community for generations to come.
