Education Insufficient funding can lead to a variety of problems within the education system, including overcrowded classrooms, limited resources, inadequate teacher salaries, and disparities in educational quality between different districts. To address this issue, policymakers in Washington State NEED to consider increasing funding for education, (especially the marijuana taxes as well as our home owner's taxes are supposed to be funding the school appropriately) Therefore the policy makers should be implementing more equitable funding formulas to reduce disparities between wealthy and low-income districts, and prioritizing resources to support student learning and teacher development. Education Schools need to be safe again, and not mandated to learn something kids do not want to learn. Wages / Job Benefits Workforce development: Invest in programs that provide training and education to help workers acquire skills needed for in-demand jobs in growing industries. Housing Affordable housing initiatives: Implement policies to increase affordable housing supply, provide rental assistance programs, and address homelessness. Education Instead our lawmakers are passing laws that change the curriculum, disrupt the learning environment, and are forced to do nothing, while behaviors become worse. Instead of a safe and cohesive education our children are "BY LAW" supposed to get, the legislatures are wasting tax payer money, time and honestly causing far too much division in school among children who only need to learn the core fundamental's of life, problem solving, critical thinking, comprehension, and retention. A solution would be to spend less time on creating things that are not necessary, and focus on what the root of where a young mind is ultimately made to be an adult in society. Fix that system and many others will fall into place over time fixing themselves.
