Buying power from other states does not help people in their pocket, it costs people more. Keep all Maryland power plants operational. Education Parents decide on school choice. We need to focus on a education audit and be transparent with Marylanders on where the money is going. Education needs to get back to teaching strong fundamentals of education but also have options in trade shops, home economics and work study programs. Healthcare Increasing regional access to affordable, high-quality healthcare facilities and preventative wellness services for seniors. Fix health insurance crisis day one. Environment / Energy Pursue real policies to keep the bay clean. Support the business owners and watermen that rely on a clean bay to make their living without broken promises. Explore options for filtering systems at the Conowingo Damn and other tributaries and no harmful windmills. Taxes / Budget End taxes on tips, overtime and hard earned wages. No taxes on first responders pensions. Senior citizens deserve no property taxes. Promote housing affordability with state grants for down payments or settlement fees. Create farmers markets across Maryland to allow for healthy and easy access to farm fresh foods for all of Maryland.
