Criminal Justice / Public Safety District 25 has become unsafe for residents. Addressing rising crime rates is a complex issue that requires increasing the state budget to hire more police officers, allocating funds for crime prevention programs, and encouraging community-oriented policing strategies that foster positive relationships between law enforcement and residents. Infrastructure / Transportation Repair damaged roads, potholes, and expand roads.  Build more bridges, roads, neighborhood parks, and outdoor exercise areas. Housing Increase the state budget for San Jose city to build more housing and hire more caseworkers to assist the homeless. Education Work with school districts and commissioners to hire more staffs in the school districts.  Create more hands-on classes and summer learning programs for students.  Create more work-study for students.
