Economy Business is the backbone for any state and we must continue to adapt with the times with the intent of pushing our economy further, protecting workers rights and ensuring that businesses are getting the support they need to be able to thrive. In turn, we can grow our local economy and increase our wages, all leading to our communities continuing to rank as some of the best places to live! Education I do believe in private education, but I am weary about what a state funded program would look like, as it could take money away from public institutions. There is not a single fix for this issue, but we must ensure that our students are being put first and that they have access to the best education possible. With strong education comes a strong future. We must retain these students and continue to build our workforce. Many students leave right after graduation due to the lack of opportunities in Ohio. Healthcare I will continue to sound the alarm on mental health and work with local leaders to remove the stigma behind mental health, provide resources to students and employees and work to improve therapy access and the affordability behind it. Substance abuse and mental wellness have direct links between each other. As our substance abuse problems continue to rise, we must investigate the flip side of it. My goal through all healthcare related solutions is to give Ohioans a path to put their best foot forward. Whether or not everyone wants to participate is up to them, but we must provide options to Ohioans who are looking to improve their livelihoods.
