Infrastructure / Transportation I will work with local businesses and landowners to design safe walking paths for pedestrian and bike access to business centers and neighborhoods. Infrastructure / Transportation I will work with ALDOT to revitalize Highway 31 inside Spanish Fort city limits and truly bring Spanish Fort Boulevard to life: bike lanes, more green space between walking areas and traffic, safe pedestrian crossing areas for every neighborhood, and adequate, safe pedestrian access from Bass Pro all the way to the Eastern Shore Centre; connecting neighborhoods and businesses. Spanish Fort residents should be able to take their bikes to the grocery store without being bullied by highway traffic. Taxes / Budget I will work to create a business-friendly environment that supports current and future locally-owned small businesses and encourages more activity and experience business growth. Spanish Fort residents need more spaces to laugh and enjoy themselves with their neighbors. Infrastructure / Transportation I will partner with neighboring cities and the county to do whatever it takes to expedite the completion of the Highway 59 access from Stonebridge community to significantly decrease the traffic burden at 181/31 ASAP. Spanish Fort residents deserve to know what is going on with this project and the reasons for the delays.
