Environment / Energy Invest in pocket parks, which could help to relieve flooding from rain events, and provide recreational spaces for kids and families. Economy Prioritize legislation that supports small and local businesses. Environment / Energy Finish the dredging of stormwater treatment ponds and further evaluate the efficacy of chemical treatment of these ponds. Economy Work with FDOT to direct Highway 41 traffic to alternate routes that make small business corridors easier to access. Environment / Energy Prioritize the resiliency of our shores to keep us safe from hurricanes and save us money down the line. Infrastructure / Transportation Ensure downtown parking remains free for residents, while charging non-residents to park, bringing in revenue for the city.
