Environment / Energy Minnesota needs a true all-of-the-above approach that keeps energy bills affordable for families and ensures year-round reliability of our grid on the coldest days of winter and hottest days of summer. I will repeal Minnesota's longstanding ban on nuclear energy, and reform burdensome mandates imposed by Democrats that are driving up your heating and electric bills. Wages / Job Benefits As Governor I will work to make Minnesota a magnet for business investment and job creation in all corners of the state. Taxes / Budget Helping Minnesota families afford their lives will be my top priority as governor. I will work to cut income taxes for families by reducing the lowest two tax brackets, dial back expensive car tab fees that were raised by Democrats, and finally end taxes on social security benefits for our seniors. Criminal Justice / Public Safety As Governor, I will have the backs of our police, firefighters, and other first responders who keep our communities safe. I will invest in public safety resources for cities and counties, strengthen sentences for repeat offenders, and crack down on soft-on-crime policies from judges and county attorneys who seem to favor the feelings of criminals over the safety of the public. Education As Governor I will lead an education revolution that puts academic excellence and reading proficiency at the center of our agenda. I will fight to keep woke gender and racial ideology out of our classrooms and focus dollars in the classroom instead of on growing the education bureaucracy that is driving up local property taxes across Minnesota.
